Founded in 2021 in Houston, Texas, by co-founders Joshua (Josh) Miller (CEO), Christopher (Chris) Miller (COO and VP of Expansion), and Janice Delcid (CFO) Epique was born from frustration with the traditional “sink or swim” brokerage model that offered agents limited support, outdated tech, and broker-centric structures.
The trio, led by Josh, a Harvard-trained economist, self-taught app developer, and serial entrepreneur—created the first truly agent-owned, agent-founded, and agent-operated national brokerage. Agents hold ownership stakes, while executives serve them, delivering an innovative “radical generosity” approach with over 100 insane benefits, low fees, and a cloud-based, virtual platform designed to empower professionals from day one.
