Piste, moguls, terrain and if you’re lucky, beautiful off-piste descents through soft spring snow (firn). We alternate skiing or snowboarding in the morning with an active afternoon program. A cool mountain bike tour, hike to a mountain hut or a SUP tour in the glacier.

Skiing and boarding on the Hintertux Glacier
The Hintertux Glacier has been our favorite winter sports destination in the early and late season for over ten years. The area extends from 2,000 to 3,250 meters and has 90 km of slopes in the winter months. The high location ensures good snow security and stable conditions. The large and varied off-piste terrain allows us to ski or board challenging runs at every level.
The 4* hotel is only a 5-minute drive from the valley station Lanersbacherhof . In this atmospheric family hotel we have been warmly welcomed and well looked after for years. You stay here in a spacious double room or, if available, a single or triple room. The hotel’s cuisine is one of the best in the Zillertal. Star chef Toni Fercher and his crew prepare the healthy and varied menu. :Traditional Tyrolean cooking culture combined with modern, international dishes”. After an intensive day in the mountains, you can relax in the extensive wellness area with an outdoor sauna and swimming pool. Intense training and relaxation.
4 ski or snowboard days
Day 1 – Arrival in Lanersbacherhof, introduction and material check
From the Netherlands you drive to Tux in about 9 hours. You can fly to Innsbruck. From 4 pm you can check in at the hotel and meet your travel companions at the hotel bar. Around 7 pm we sit down for a joint dinner, followed by the official opening, announcement of the group layout and briefing of the program.
Day 2 – Warming up, getting used to and technique exercises
Your trainer builds up the program slowly and starts with a few warm-up laps. When everyone is used to it, we start with the first exercises. Depending on the snow conditions, there will be skiing and boarding on the slopes, in the moguls and off-piste. The descents and exercises are chosen according to the level and the wishes of the group. After a late lunch on the mountain we take the gondola down. Back at the hotel we can change clothes before we start the afternoon program. This is tailored to the weather conditions and the wishes of the group.
Day 3 & 4 – Making a lot of meters on the glacier
With targeted exercises and personal feedback and tips, you will notice that you are getting better and better. The guide tries to challenge you and take you out of your comfort zone. One step further every day. Also these days there is another activity planned in the afternoon.
