Intermediate - Epique

Perhaps the most important thing about a ski or snowboard trip, the level of the trip and that of your travel companions. That powder descent that the guide picks out for you can be quite challenging but you have to be able to enjoy it. During a tour ski or splitboard tour you don’t want to get on your gums, but you still have some energy left for the descent. It is also nice if the group you are traveling with fits together. During an off-piste training everyone is on the same level and you can also learn from each other. Challenging descents can be sought during a freeride trip and a top is already conquered during the tour

Ski and snowboard levels

To match the ski and snowboard groups as best as possible, we have five ski and snowboard levels, rookie to expert. For every trip we expect a minimum level. If several groups are going on a trip, we will divide them according to level.

Is an intermediate trip suitable for me?

As an intermediate skier or snowboarder you come down on most off-piste runs in a controlled and fast pace. During a tour or splitboard adventure you are able to make day trips with 1500 meters of altitude. The guide occasionally gives tips and tricks, but you learn most by doing. The guide will challenge you with tree runs or a steep couloir. During a tour ski or splitboard trip you learn to ascend with resin irons on steep and icy terrain.

Intermediate freeride travel

Both in the Alps and far beyond, there are more than enough opportunities for intermediate skiers and boarders. In Tyrol or the French Alps, for example, there are great freeride areas with runs for every level. Or go on an adventure to an exotic destination such as Georgia and Iran. In addition to a great culture, you will find small freeride areas here. Of course, Japan, famous for its dry powder snow, should not be missed. The place for a unique freeride trip, unforgettable powder descents and delicious cuisine and culture.

Tour ski & Splitboard tours

If you want to go further into the backcounty, you can join a tour ski or spliboard trip. Experience real mountain life during a hut tour in the Alps. Or enjoy the impressive landscape and perfect snow conditions in Norway or Iceland. For everyone who is not afraid of a big climb, we have a varied range of tour ski and splitboard trips.
